Chrome "Aw, Snap"

Chrome version 78 is not compatible with Symantec Endpoint Protection 14.0. It is recommended we update to 14.2. Until then remedying the Aw Snap error of Chrome involves.

1. Uninstall Chrome 78.

2. Install Chrome 77

3. Delete some profile files in Appdata

a. in the user's Appdata folder, go to local\Google\Chrome\UserData\Default

b. Delete: the WebData and WebData-Journal files

4. Using MSCONFIG, turn off the two Google Update services.

5. Reboot and test
